# ATS Integrations: Connect Merge to Your Hiring Stack

> Connect Merge to your applicant tracking system to sync assessment invites and results directly with your existing candidate records.

Merge integrates with the ATS your team already uses, so you can send invites and receive results without switching between tools. Once connected, your hiring workflow stays in one place — the candidate record in your ATS becomes the single source of truth for both the invitation and the outcome.

## How integrations work

Once you connect your ATS to Merge, the two systems stay in sync throughout the assessment lifecycle:

* **Trigger invites from your ATS** — send a Merge assessment invite directly from the candidate record in your ATS without opening a separate tab or tool.
* **Receive results automatically** — when the assessment completes, the result and scorecard link sync back to the ATS candidate record without any manual action.
* **Track status in both places** — invite status (pending, in progress, completed) is visible in both Merge and your ATS at all times, so your team always has the latest picture.

## Setting up an integration

The steps below give you a high-level overview of the setup process. Each ATS has a dedicated page with provider-specific instructions.

    Go to **Settings > Integrations** in your Merge dashboard. You'll see a list of all supported ATS platforms.

    Choose your ATS from the list of supported systems to open the connection setup flow for that platform.

  <Step title="Authenticate and authorize the connection">
    Follow the provider-specific instructions to sign in to your ATS admin account and grant Merge the permissions it needs to sync invites and results.

  <Step title="Test the connection">
    Send a test invite from a candidate profile in your ATS to confirm the integration is active and results are flowing back correctly.
